Tech Day: Updates Related to Asus Gaming Laptop, OnePlus TV, and OkCupid

:::Asus announced its four new gaming laptops - featuring 11th Gen Intel Core H-Series processors - namely, Asus ROG Zephyrus S17, Asus Zephyrus M16, Asus TUF Gaming F15, and Asus TUF Gaming F17.

Asus TUF Gaming F15 and Asus TUF Gaming F17 are priced at ₹1,04,990/- and ₹92,990/- respectively. F15 will be available for sale from June 11, 2021, on Amazon, Asus Exclusive Stores, Croma, Vijay Sales, and ROG Stores. F17 will be available for sale from June 14, 2021, only on Flipkart. Both the laptops are powered by Intel Core H-Series processors and both the laptops feature Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs. F15 and F17 support fast charging as they charge from 0% to 50% in thirty minutes. A user may either charge these laptops with the cable provided by the company or use the Type-C cable to charge via the Thunderbolt 4 port.

Asus Zephyrus S17 and Asus Zephyrus M16 will be launched soon. The company, for now, has revealed its prices. Asus has priced S17 at ₹2,99,990/- and M16 at ₹1,44,990/-. Both S17 & M16, are powered by Intel Core i9 11900H processors. S17 and M16, however, feature different graphic cards. S17 features Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphic card while M16 features three variants namely, GeForce RTX 3070, GeForce RTX 3060, and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.

The official spokesperson from the company said during the announcement that all four Asus gaming laptops have been designed as robust on-the-go gaming devices.

:::OnePlus has launched OnePlus TV U1S Series in the Indian market at its Summer Launch Event.

OnePlus TV U1S Series offers its buyers three options: 50-inches, 55-inches, and 65-inches. All three models are priced differently at ₹39,999/-, ₹47,999/-, and ₹62,999/- respectively. The series features a 4k display resolution of 3,840x2,160 pixels, HDR10+, HLG, MEMC support, and 30W speakers to support Dolby Audio. The series supports connection to three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and one Ethernet jack. A user can separately purchase a camera module for ₹2,499/-.

The series uses fifty AI algorithms that run on Android TV 10 with Oxygen Play 20 on top. These algorithms help to reduce noise and deliver a cinematic viewing experience. A user may control the TV with the 'Ok Google' command or connect it with Amazon Alexa. The TV can be connected with OnePlus Buds too.

The TVs have been launched on the official website of OnePlus, Amazon, and Flipkart.

:::OkCupid, a dating app, has launched a new feature.

The new feature enables its users to clarify their vaccination status by displaying a profile badge. According to the company, users received 25% more likes after answering 'Yes' to the question 'Will you get vaccinated?' and had more conversations with their potential partners. After rolling out the new feature, the company expects an increase of 35% in its match rate. The app also revealed that 41% of its female users did not consider the non-vaccinated users as their potential partners.

OkCupid has also undertaken an initiative to share verified information about vaccines, along with the precautions required, with its users.
