Tech Day: Updates Related to TCL, HBO Max, And Realme

TCL has launched India's first Mini LED TV in three versions namely, Mini LED QLED 4k C825, Mini LED QLED 4k C728, and Mini LED QLED 4k C725. All the versions of the mini LED share some common features like Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced, Hands-Free voice control 2.0, and Dolby Vision, to name a few.

C728 will be available in three dimensions of 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch at ₹79,990/-, ₹1,02,990/-, and ₹1,59,990/-, respectively. It has been specially designed for gamers. TLC has offered a hands-free voice control option and auto low latency mode in C728.

C725 will be available in three dimensions of 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch at ₹64,990/-, ₹72,990/-, and ₹99,999/- respectively. It will sport an HDMI 2.1 port with an integrated ONKYO-certified soundbar that is paired with Dolby Atmos and an HDR10+ display.

C825 will be available in two dimensions of 55-inch and 65-inch at ₹1,14,990/- and ₹1,49,990/- respectively. It will also sport an HDMI 2.1 port to better pair a PS5 or an Xbox Series X. It will feature a 1080 camera that is powered by Google Duo and Zoom Meet for better video calls.

:::HBO Max has come up with good news for its existing subscribers and its potential subscribers in Latin America.

HBO Max has decided to launch its services in thirty-nine territories of Latin American and the Caribbean by expanding its services out of the United States of America. This is for the first time that HBO Max is going beyond the boundaries of the US.

HBO Max will start with a mobile-only plan that will support SD streaming and download of up to five titles. The subscribers, however, can choose to upgrade their plan to HD & 4k streaming by signing up for the service at a discount of 50% that is valid till July 31, 2021, only. With the upgraded plan, a subscriber will be able to download up to thirty titles and set up five personalized profiles.

HBO Max has also decided to produce a hundred local originals in the coming two years. The expansion benefits its current subscribers too as they will now be able to stream HBO Max while traveling to the thirty-nine territories of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Reportedly, UEFA Champions League events will be available to the subscribers of HBO Max who reside in Brazil and Mexico, by the end of 2021.

:::Realme has launched products in three categories: a beard trimmer series, a hairdryer, and Realme Buds 2 Neo Wired Earphones.

The beard trimmer series by Realme has two models: Realme Beard Trimmer for ₹1,299/- and Realme Beard Trimmer Plus for ₹1,999/-. Both the models function on 800mAh battery efficiency and can work for a maximum of 120-minutes. USB Type-C port is available in both models for quick charging and to know how much battery is left, a user can refer to the LED that will indicate the battery level. A user can expect precision of 0.5mm, as claimed by the company.

Realme Beard Trimmer and Realme Beard Trimmer Plus differ on a few points. These points are as follows:

  1. Comb
    While Trimmer features only a 10mm comb, Trimmer Plus features a 10mm comb along with a 20mm comb.

  2. Length Settings
    Trimmer offers twenty-length settings while Trimmer Plus offers forty-length settings.

  3. Stainless Steel Blades
    Stainless Steel Blades will make an appearance in Trimmer but in Trimmer Plus, two IPX7 water-resistant rated stainless steel blades will steal the show.

Realme Hair Dryer will cost ₹1,999/-. It will offer two levels of wind speeds that will be generated by the power of 1,400W. It will function with the help of a motor that will spin at up to 19,000 rpm.

Realme Buds 2 Neo have been priced at ₹499/- only. They feature an in-built microphone and 11.2mm dynamic drivers. Both have been included to provide a better audio experience in terms of music and general calls. It also features a 90 degree angled 3.5mm jack.
