Amazon recently sent an email to the users of Kindle telling them that their device would no longer support the cellular network of 3G. This comes as a move after the operators announced that they would be shifting their network completely to 4G and 5G technology. This shift would make 2G and 3G networks an outdated technology. The shift is currently only for the users of the United States of America. It would start coming into effect by the end of 2021.

The devices that will lose internet access are Kindle First Generation, Kindle Second Generation, and Kindle DX Second Generation. The users will be unable to download new content. However, they would still be able to access the content that they have already downloaded on their device.

Some devices that would lose cellular internet access but retain WiFi access are Kindle Keyboard Third Generation, Kindle Touch Fourth Generation, Kindle Paperwhite Fifth Generation, Kindle Paperwhite Sixth Generation, Kindle Paperwhite Seventh Generation, Kindle Voyage Seventh Generation, and Kindle Oasis Eight Generation.

Beoplay EQ is Bang & Olufsen's first earbuds with an Active Noise Cancellation feature. The company has set its price in the range starting from ₹29,600/- to ₹35,200/-. Beoplay EQ would be available only in two colors. These two colors are Black and Sand.

The earbuds are powered by an 85mAh battery and 6.8mm electro-dynamic drivers. The battery has a run time of 6.5 hours with Active Noise Cancellation and 7.5 hours without Active Noise Cancellation. It takes only 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge completely. Beoplay EQ also supports Qi wireless charging. It offers the users a choice to customize sound equalizer along with volume adjustment.

The earbuds weigh 8 grams and the charging case weighs 50 grams. It also features Bluetooth v5.2 and comes IP54 certified for dust & water resistance.

The warning is about the shortage of chips across the globe, which is expected to get worse in the coming months. Pat Gelsinger has stated three reasons for the shortage of chips. These three reasons are as follows:

  1. Increase in the demand for devices like laptops and computers.
  2. Covid-19 pandemic.
  3. Deteriorating relationships of The United States of America and China with China being responsible for 25% of Intel's revenue.

Intel now plans to set up its semi-conductor factories in the market of the US and Europe. It is estimated that the factories would be set up by the end of 2021. Post late 2021, the supply will start getting back to normal. It will take nearly 1-2 years for Intel to catch up with the supply of its chips.

With the new plan in mind, Pat Gelsinger has emphasized the need to rebuild the relationships with Europe as they may have been damaged under the administration of the previous President.
