The Internet Explorer will be neither supported by 365 Online. The browser will be replaced with Microsoft Edge , said the company in a blog post. The company has cited three reasons to retire Internet Explorer and replace it with Edge. These three reasons are as follows: Internet Explorer was released twenty-five years ago on August 16, 1995. Since then the security concern has increased due to the rise in the number of cyberattacks like phishing and malware. Edge, on the other hand, is chromium-based and provides better security against such threats. Edge improves the productivity of a device.
